what is Discovery Bible Study
'DBS' is an interactive, highly reproducible small-group method used globally for evangelism and discipleship. Rather than relying on a teacher or pastor to provide answers, participants read scripture together and answer simple questions to discover what the text says, how to apply it, and how to share it.

What We Do
Studies usually meet in small groups of 4 to 8 people and use a framework that breaks the meeting into three parts:
- Connect & Review
- Read & Discuss the Bible text
- Plan & Share: Every study ends with participants making commitments to obey what they just learned.

What's Different
Discovery Bible Study is a great tool that helps participants from many backgrounds learn about and respond to who God is.

Look UP
Look Up, to breathe in knowledge:

• Re-read the passage. Try to remember it. Use group memory.
• What does the passage teach about God, God’s character, and/or God’s purpose?
• What does it teach about people, including ourselves?
• What is its main point?
